Teaching Students to Rethink their Work
Recorded Webinar

Description:
The primary purpose of daily formative assessment is for students to use evidence from their learning to revise their thinking or set goals for more learning. This webinar provides processes to help teachers reflect on what to do when students exhibit misconceptions in their understanding. Learning during a lesson is the student’s responsibility when the teaching process has been appropriately planned and implemented. Guiding students to analyze their work and change their thinking is a foundational step that students should be taught to develop ownership of learning.
