Science of Reading: Literacy Workstations

The GaDOE ELA team partnered with the Cox Campus for Language & Literacy to offer a comprehensive course sequence on the science of reading. All virtual professional learning sessions facilitated by GaDOE ELA are recorded. Participants may choose to individually explore one, some, or all of the sessions on-demand or to complete the course together as a professional learning community.
This session will focus on literacy workstations. The goals and objectives for this session:
•design organized spaces to help children develop language and literacy skills;
•categorize different types of workstations and their role in literacy development; and
•develop a plan to create, manage and rotate literacy workstations throughout the year.
