The Georgia Department of Education (GaDOE) Special Education Budget Unit provides training and updates on FY2023 IDEA budget requirements. This webinar centers around elements of the IDEA Budget Submission Checklist, including proportionate share and Comprehensive Coordinated Early Intervention Services (CCEIS). Participants understand the elements of the proportionate share calculation, carryover requirement, and when and how to submit waivers. In addition, participants also understand elements of the CCEIS calculation and how to complete CCEIS budget documentation. This webinar also addresses keys to successful budget submission by providing participants with tips to avoid common revision requests.
