This webinar previews the new series of online learning modules in Formative Instructional Practices Online Professional Learning (FIP). The purpose of Assessment 101: Empowering Teachers and Leaders to Engage Parents in Student Learning is to demystify formative and summative assessments and clarify the different ways that assessments are useful. Another purpose is to enable leaders and teachers to communicate more effectively and accurately about assessments and reports with parents, students and in a variety of public-facing settings with different stakeholders.
