Effectiveness vs. Evidenced-Based
Recorded Webinar

Description:
ESSA and IDEA Tuesdays in June 2022
“Effectiveness” and “evidence” are two terms that are often used interchangeably — but for the purposes of federal programs, they represent opposite ends of the implementation process. Evidence is used to identify interventions the LEA might like to put in place to address identified needs. Effectiveness happens once the intervention has been implemented: Did we implement with fidelity? Did this intervention work for our students/teachers/leaders/community? What could we do better? Should we continue with this intervention? This session will be aimed at any LEA staff who are responsible for implementing an intervention funded with federal funds.
