This AP English Language webinar for first-year teachers, led by Dr. Heather Barton of Cherokee County Schools and Emily Mowery of Floyd County Schools, provides training to strengthen instruction to support AP English Language teachers in development and delivery of content and lessons. Included are strategies for the synthesis essay; understanding the synthesis rubric; virtual teaching methods; pacing the course, and incorporating resources from AP Classroom. The professional learning workshop is targeted to AP teachers with 0-3 years of experience, but all teachers are welcome.
